remaining SAGADA 9 FINALLY RELEASED!
As of Dec. 21, 2006, the remaining 9 "punks" known as the SAGADA 11 were released with the court decision on Tuesday that the multiple murder and arson case was DISMISSED due to LACK OF EVEIDENCE as presided over by Judge Benigno Galacgac of the Benguet Regional Trial Court.
The SAGADA 9 backpackers wishes to thank those those who helped w/ the campaign- from the streets to the internet, from here & abroad- those who's faces they've never even seen- although there is NO mention of the specifics in their public speech, and made to read a scripted statement to the press- they are greeted with welcoming cheers.
Corporate media like Inq7.net did note the ONLINE PETITION, which reached the peak of 2,000+ Signatories. And the OVERWHELMING INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT via different AUTONOMOUS ACTIONS overseas from Asia, US & Europe.

Rundren Berloize Lao, 24, from Davao City;
Aldoz Christian Munoza, 18, of Santolan, Pasig City;
Darwin Alazar y Padilla, 21, native of Tipuso,
Urdaneta City, Pangasinan;
Arvie Nunez, 21, native of Silang, Mayaw, Lucena City;
Neil Russel Balajadia, 25, from Santolan, Pasig City;
Jethro Villegas, 21, of Malagos, Calinan, Davao City;
Anderson Alonzo, 18, also of Malagos, Calinan, Davao
City;
Ronron Pandino, 20, from San Quintin, Laguna;
Jefferson dela Rosa y dela Cruz, 20, of Santolan,
Pasig City.
